What Else is New in Kansas City

My last post covered a few of my new favorite places around my adopted hometown, but it left out a few more that I thought you might like. Let me know if you've tried any of them out, or if you've checked out any new places in Kansas City that I should make sure to visit.

Oh my goodness, we've found our new favorite restaurant/bar in Kansas City! We checked out the tasting room with some friends for a pre-Christmas dinner and it was amazing. We went back and tried the Supper Club side for Valentine's Day and it was superb. The flavors of the food and cocktails are divine. All I can say is get yourself there and for dessert, have the Quesadilla SalvadoreƱa with smoked cherry ice cream, sour cream mousse, and aged cheddar.
My favorite yoga instructor, Tricia, started teaching at a new yoga studio last year, right off 40 Highway in Independence, MO. This lovely group of ladies is the Slow Flow class on Wednesday mornings at 9am. I also like the 9am Flow class on Tuesday and the noon Power Flow class on Fridays. All three are taught by the blond cutie in the back row.
We have long enjoyed brunch at Rye in Leawood, but this weekend we finally checked out brunch at Rye's new location on the Country Club Plaza (where the M&S Grill used to be). If their lox and bagel can get this big a smile out of Brian, imagine how happy it would make you!!
I love the General Store + Co. in Leawood, KS for their amazing curated collection of things for my home, my desk, myself or a gift for someone else. They sell local & regional items and some recognizable brands of candles, clothing, art, stationary, and home goods. It's also the kind of place I walk into and wish it was my house.
Okay, so this last one isn't exactly new (this photo is from November 2016), but ever since we went I've been wanting to go back, so this is a reminder to me and an invite to you. Do you like solving super clever puzzles in amazingly themed rooms? My family went and we didn't quite escape in time, so I need a rematch. Seriously, let me know if you want to go. I think four additional people would be perfect, for a group of six. If you're in KC, leave a comment and I'll work on making it happen!
